ABC Tech Quest: Tools for All!

Time: 20–30 minutes
Format: Individual or teams of 2–4
Goal: Explore the ABC’s of Tech for All document while discovering practical tools and strategies you can use right away.

Step 1. Pick Your Letters (2–3 minutes)

  • Each teacher or team randomly selects 3–5 letters of the alphabet. These are your “mission letters.”

Step 2. Explore & Choose (8–10 minutes)

  • Using the ABC’s of Tech for All document, for each assigned letter, you must:
    • Find one tool or strategy and decide:
      • What is it?
      • Who does it help most (students, teachers, accessibility, engagement, etc.)?
      • One classroom use idea.
    • Capture quick notes in a shared doc, slides, or on sticky notes.

Step 3. Create a Mini Share-Out (7–10 minutes)

  • Each person/team creates a 1-slide or 60-second share that includes:
    • Your letters.
    • Your Tool/strategy name(s).
    • One practical classroom example.
    • One “aha!” or takeaway.
  • Keep it light; bullets, icons, or quick sketches are perfect.

Step 4. Lightning Round (5–10 minutes)

  • Everyone does rapid share-outs:
    • 30–60 seconds per team.
    • No deep explaining; just highlights!
  • As people present, others jot down:
    • One tool you want to try.
    • One question you still have.
