Try Before You Buy
The 28 local REMCs located across Michigan have many maker resources available for educators to try prior to purchasing.  Local REMCs have extensive collections of maker kits including Bloxels, Dot and Dash, Eris 3D Printer, Hue Camera and Green Screen, Keva Planks, Little Bits, Makey Makey, Ozobots, Strawbees, and Sphero.

New Resource in Maker Kits 
The books used by the Promoting STEM Through Literature course were added to the maker kits.  Each of these titles shares a story where something was built or invented by designing, planning, gathering materials, and creating. In addition to strengthening literacy skills, your students will develop inquiry and problem-solving skills. Each title has additional resources and lessons for using it in the classroom.
