Educator Evaluation
For the 2024-25 school year and beyond, Michigan has enacted significant changes to teacher evaluation requirements through Public Acts 224 and 225 of 2023, impacting the evaluation process. Utilizing educational technology tools can significantly help school administrators be more efficient and effective in their practice while implementing these changes.

The Guidebook and Toolkit available provide guiding questions and resources to help with using educational technology to become more efficient and effective with evaluations.
An additional resources is the 2024-2025 Summary of Michigan Educator Evaluation Updates that provides a comparison overview of the changes in Michigan law for the 2024-2025 school year.
Educator Evaluation Guidebook - resources for 3 modules of content. Educators and professional development providers can integrate these resources into new or existing activities or training, or use them for self-learning. Each module provides:

- Protocol for deeper or reflective thinking
Toolkit - provides guiding questions and resources around the Educator Evaluation topic; it is designed to help in designing professional learning experiences, or to give users a starting point for exploring a specific topic. The toolkit contains the following elements:

- Guiding questions that can be used to focus professional development
- Content resources to support professional learning activities
