UNLEASHING CREATIVITY: GET TO KNOW YOUR STUDENT’S WITH PADLET’S AI DRAW!

Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Creative Communicator, Global Collaborator

Overview

Kick off the school year with a fun and creative activity! Use Padlet’s “I Can’t Draw” feature to let your students uniquely introduce themselves. This interactive tool enables students to describe themselves through quirky and imaginative drawings, creating a memorable experience for both you and your class. Dive into this engaging activity and discover the outstanding personalities in your classroom!

Students will:

  • Be able to use Padlet AI's feature.
  • Be able to showcase their creativity with Padlet.

Vocabulary Words:

1. Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI is when computers or machines can think and learn like people. For example, when you talk to Siri or Alexa, they use AI to understand and answer your questions.

2. Personal Information: Personal information is information about you that makes you unique but doesn’t identify you individually. Examples include your favorite color, the city you live in, or your hobbies. It’s generally safe to share personal information with others.

3. Private Information: Private information is information that can identify you individually and should be kept confidential. Examples include your full name, home address, phone number, and social security number. Private information should not be shared without permission because it can be used to identify you personally.

4. Copy: Copy means to duplicate selected text or items so you can place it somewhere else without removing it from its original location.

5. Copy Shortcut: Press Ctrl + C on Windows or Command + C on Mac.

6. Paste: Paste means to place the copied text or items into a new location.

7. Paste Shortcut: Press Ctrl + V on Windows or Command + V on Mac.
