Be the "Creator" of Your Story
Overview
Book Creator allows students to draw pictures, import photos from their device or camera, add text, and record their authentic voice on each page. When finished, students will publish their book and share it with their class, teacher, and families.
Teach “All About Me” using Book Creator. Students will tell a story that explains who they are as authors. They will draw, add images, and record their voices to explain their family, favorite foods, favorite colors, and more. Students will also learn that authors create books that are published and include information about the author.
Learning Objectives
Students will:
Be able to create a digital story about themselves using Book Creator.
Add drawings and/or images of family members, pets, home, favorite color, animal, and food.
Record their voice explaining each page.
Identify themselves as the author of their book.
Understand that publishing means sharing their finished book with others.
Create a simple About the Author (biography) page.
