Registration open for Inclusive Tech Together
How can assistive technology and instructional technology teams work together to improve learning for every student? Inclusive Tech Together is a free, three-part professional learning experience designed to help Michigan K–12 educators and specialists answer that question.
Led by author, presenter and inclusive educator Beth Poss, this statewide initiative focuses on intentional collaboration between assistive technology and instructional technology teams. Participants will explore anti-ableism, implementation science and practical strategies for connecting specialized student support with everyday classroom instruction.
Rather than a one-time workshop, Inclusive Tech Together provides a year-long, coaching-style learning experience:
Part 1: Define & Discover
November 12, 2026 | Virtual Choose to attend either the 9:00–11:00 a.m. or 4:00–6:00 p.m. session. Participants will begin identifying their goals and opportunities for building more inclusive learning environments.
Part 2: In-Person Learning Day
February 8, 2027 | 8:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Participants will gather at a regional location for a keynote presentation from Beth Poss of Inclusive Learning 365 and interactive workshops tailored to their selected goals.
- Regional in-person options are available through Bay-Arenac ISD, Dickinson-Iron ISD, Oakland Schools and Kalamazoo RESA. A virtual participation option is also available, making it easier for educators throughout Michigan to join the experience.
- When registering, you will pick the location or virtual option linked above.
Part 3: Reflect & Reinforce
April 20, 2027 | Virtual Choose either the 9:00–11:00 a.m. or 4:00–6:00 p.m. session. Participants will reflect on their progress, reinforce their learning and consider how to continue implementing inclusive practices.
Inclusive classrooms are created when educators intentionally collaborate, identify barriers and ensure students have equitable access to meaningful learning opportunities. Join Inclusive Tech Together to develop practical strategies, connect with educators across the state and help create a more inclusive educational ecosystem for all learners.
