Judy Bowling receives MACUL President's Award
The REMC Association of Michigan is celebrating Judy Bowling, REMC 20 Director on receiving the 2024 MACUL President’s award. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of educational technology and advancing student learning.
Judy is the co-creator of the statewide Promoting STEM Through Literature project and serves as the Instructional Technology and Library Consultant for Wayne RESA.
During the 2024 MACUL Conference Opening Ceremony, Judy was presented the award from MACUL President Amy Dirlam. She stated, “Judy is a champion for literacy, technology and maker-centered learning in our schools. As a former school librarian, she understands the important role the school library and librarians play in education.”
In addition, Judy and her team at Wayne RESA host an amazing Maker-STEM Summit at the Henry Ford Museum each February. Educators who attend the summit “learn through doing” and are well equipped to take the maker-mindset back to their schools. She has also been a regular presenter at MACUL events, is an invaluable member and contributor to the RITS/REMC group and humbly shares her talent and expertise across the state.
Congratulations Judy Bowling!
