Key Vocabulary
Define step: In the define step, the problem being addressed is clearly identified.
Design process: The design process is a systematic problem-solving strategy that designers follow to come up with a solution to a problem.
Design thinking: Design thinking is the process used to create a solution to a problem with a focus on the people impacted and your goal.
Empathize step: In the empathize step, observations and research are used to best understand the needs or values of others.
Ideate step: In the ideate step, one brainstorms ideas and concepts.
Prototype step: In the prototype step, an idea is selected and then created as an example product to test.
Test step: In the test step, the prototype created is tested for its intended use in order to collect feedback, determine usability, and decide on the next step of the process.
Web presence: Once you have published a site on the web, you now have a web presence. It cannot be fully deleted as there will always be a digital trace that can be found by various searching techniques.
