STEPS

1. Play the "Evolution of Social Media: A Timeline" video (4:56) embedded on this page to learn about social media's development from 1997 to 2016. 

2. Download or make a copy of the 14.Q1 Social Networking Over Time Activity. In this activity, you (or with a partner) will fill in the features that each new social media innovation provides, and predict what new features could be added to social networking by two years from now.
