Q2 Career Match Interest Survey
Your interests help you discover what you enjoy and are good at, which can guide you toward careers that match those passions. For example, if you love drawing and designing, you might explore careers in art or architecture. Let's take a look at how your interests fit into career choices.
Step 1: Open the O*NET Interest Profiler, from the website, Next Move, to complete an interest survey which will provide your Holland Personality Types. Answer the questions on whether you think you would or would not like doing each activity in a future career.
Step 2: Once you complete the survey, your results will show your strongest interest categories. In the example results below, you can see this person has stronger conventional, realistic, and investigative interests since those scores are highest. Read through the descriptions of your top 3 categories.
Step 3: You will need to copy the link from the Share option to add your results to your portfolio and to share with your teacher if asked to do that.
Step 4: Add your results page form the Interest Survey to your Career Prep Portfolio by following the steps below and as shown in the video.
