BASIC Google Slide Skills Activity

STEPS:

1. Download or make a copy of this 11.Q1 Basic Google Slide Skills Activity.

2. Check off each step as you complete it. You will be creating a Google Slidedeck that demonstrates your skills.

  • This is an example of a completed basic Google Slide skills deck titled Bella.
  • A step-by-step video that demonstrates how it was created is provided in the next box.

ADVANCED Google Slide Skills Activity

Check with your teacher about where to save your work and when it is due.

Skills covered: WordArt, spelling check, arranging objects, voice to text, Insert/record audio, Insert video, hyperlink between slides, sharing, diagram, create an image. 

Suggested Resource: If you are unfamiliar with some of these skills, it may be helpful to use the Optional Insert Menu Skill Exercise.

STEPS:

1. Activity: You will use the 11.Q1 Advanced Google Slide Skills Activity-Slide Deck to demonstrate each skill. The directions for each skill are located in the speaker notes or on the slide.

2. Video tutorials: A few of the speaker notes include links to videos. Use them as needed to complete this activity. 

3. On Completion: Provide a shared link to your Advanced Google Slide Skills Activity with commenting rights for your teacher when you are done.

Check with your teacher about exploring these Insert Menu skills.
