BASIC Google Slide Skills Activity

STEPS:

1. Download or make a copy of this 11.Q1 Basic Google Slide Skills Activity Document.

2. Complete each step by checking it off as you complete it. You will create a Google Slide deck that demonstrates your skills.

  • This is an example of a completed basic Google Slide skills deck titled Bella. In the box below, a step-by-step video demonstrates how it was created.

ADVANCED Google Slide Skills Activity

Check with your teacher about where to save your work and when it is due.

Skills covered: WordArt, spelling check, arranging objects, voice-to-text, inserting and recording audio, inserting a video, hyperlinking between slides, sharing, diagraming, and creating images. 

Suggested Resource: If you are unfamiliar with some of these skills, using the Optional Insert Menu Skill Exercise may be helpful.

STEPS:

1. Activity: You will use the 11.Q1 Advanced Google Slide Skills Activity Slide Deck to demonstrate each skill. The directions for each skill are located in the speaker notes or on the slide.

2. Video tutorials: A few of the speaker notes include links to videos. Use them as needed to complete this activity. 

3. On Completion: Provide a shared link to your Advanced Google Slide Skills Activity with commenting rights for your teacher when you are done.
