QG4 Google Docs: Graphics Step 2
Suggestion: This video clip demonstrates getting a citation from a Pics4Learning Image.
Adding Credits for An Image
Whenever you download or copy an image or photo from the web, you need to check if it is copyrighted by someone and cite it. When you did the Insert>Image>From the web, the images are likely subject to copyright, so don't rely on this for anything you might publish to the public or put out in a social media feed.
This video demonstrates the steps to add the citation for an image you have downloaded from a site such as Pics4Learning.
- To Copy the Citation: Copy the information provided in the table below the picture titled Citation, and paste it below the picture in your poem document. The images on the pics4learning website are free to use for educational purposes; however, you should always give credit to the photographer.
- You may need to use your enter/return key to add several spaces below the image to place the citation correctly.
