Q3 The Source: Completing this Quest

7. Be Legal & Fair

COMPLETING THIS QUEST

In this Quest, you will learn to cite the source of a poem or a lyric, the source of an image, or a photo from the resources provided.  You have completed this Quest when you have:

  • Used a citation-making site for resources.
  • Given credit to the person who created the work.

It is essential to understand that creating a citation and crediting the author does not equal permission. If you use someone's work in any way that may not be considered fair use, you must obtain permission first.
