You’ve learned what it means to be an entrepreneur and checked out all kinds of cool businesses people start. Now it’s your turn to be the boss!
On this Quest page, you’ll jump into a digital simulation where you run your own business — from picking your idea to making big decisions to grow your company. Can you keep your customers happy and make money?

Start by playing a quick video below that shows you how the simulation works.
Then… it’s game time! Let’s see what kind of business brainpower you’ve got!

Step 1. Be prepared for the game challenges by reading through the questions below.  You are not answering them at this time just thinking about what you will encounter while in the simulator.

  • What type of business did you create?
  • What are two choices you made during the venture that were successful?
  • What are two risks you made that did not turn out to be successful?

Step 2. Make smart choices, take risks, and have fun building your business!  Read all of the directions and text throughout the simulation to help guide you to your correct choices. Select the linked site and begin your building.

Step 3. Once you have completed the simulation, take a screenshot verifying that your "Company Succeeded" as shown in the image below.

Step 4. Go to the Try Out page of your Career Prep portfolio, answer the questions and add your screenshot.  Here is an example of the page of the Career Prep Portfolio in the Google Site template.  If you are using the OneNote template it may look slightly different.
