INTRODUCTION

Welcome to The Hero Lab. You aren't just a student here, you're a recruit preparing for the digital field. Every legendary hero has a "Power Signature" that makes them unique, and in this Thing, you’re going to unlock yours. By using the Lab’s digital scanners, you’ll discover your strengths, tackle your biggest challenges, and build a customized toolkit of tech hacks that actually work for your brain.

We’re also going to sharpen your instincts for staying safe and balanced online. It’s time to stop letting the digital world happen to you and start commanding your own journey. Your upgrade starts now!

First task; Create a copy or download the 3. Power Signature Portfolio. This will by your My Digital Life mission log portfolio that documents all of your leveling up mission knowledge.

  • Add your name to slide 2, in the blue box.
  • Share your portfolio with your Hero Lab Director (teacher).

MISSION (Learning) OBJECTIVES

  1. Scan my Core: Use a digital data tool to identify my Power Signature (personality type) and analyze my unique strengths and "glitches" (struggles). [Knowledge Constructor]
  2. Analyze the Mission: Reflect on my own learning process—like how I manage my time or handle data—to find ways to improve my performance. [Knowledge Constructor]
  3. Equip my Toolkit: Select and use specific apps and digital tools that support my unique hero type and learning style. [Empowered Learner]
  4. Manage my Identity: Analyze how my personality influences my behavior and identity on platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, and TikTok. [Digital Citizenship]
  5. Protect the Network: Evaluate the consequences of sharing information online to make safe, responsible, and heroic choices in the digital world. [Digital Citizenship]
