AI Deepfake: AI Deepfake is realistic video, audio, or image media generated by artificial intelligence to make a person appear to say or do something they never actually did.

Algorithm: An algorithm is a set of computer rules used by social media apps to analyze your habits and decide which videos, ads, and posts appear on your feed.

Clickbait: Clickbait is eye-catching text, thumbnails, or headlines designed to manipulate users into clicking a link, often by exaggerating or twisting the truth.

Curiosity Gap: A curiosity gap is a writing trick that gives you just enough information to make you curious, but hides key details so you are forced to click to find out.

Disinformation: Disinformation is false or misleading information created and spread on purpose to deceive, confuse, or harm people.

Fraudulent: Fraudulent is the crime of using dishonest methods to take something valuable from another person. 

Hacker: A hacker is a person who gains unauthorized access to data on computers and networks in unexpected ways. 

Malware: Malware is software that is intended to damage or disable computers and computer systems. 

Misinformation: Misinformation is false or misleading information shared by mistake, without the intent to cause harm.

Phishing: Phishing is a scam where hackers send fake emails, DMs, or text messages pretending to be trusted companies or creators to steal account passwords or personal data.

Ragebait: Ragebait is online content specifically engineered to make people angry or outraged, so they leave comments, share the post, and boost its algorithm views.

Scam: A scam is a scheme or offer that is dishonest.

Social Engineering: Social Engineering is a psychological trick used by scammers to gain your trust and manipulate you into making a mistake, like giving away sensitive information or money.

Synthetic Media: Synthetic media is any digital image, video, text, or sound created or significantly altered using artificial intelligence tools.
