Let’s pop the filter bubble by questioning what we read! Search for stealing water from the Great Lakes with a partner. Find at least two articles on this topic. Using the criteria from the poster on this page, read through the articles and determine how CREDIBLE or AUTHENTIC the reporting is. Use this Pop the Bubble Document to share the answers to your questions with your teacher.
Answer the following questions:
- Who wrote the article? Are they credible or authentic?
- What is the copyright date of the article? Are the facts reported match the copyright date?
- Are there supporting sources? Do the links support the story?
- Have experts in the field been connected to the story or authored the information?
