My Digital Life

Q1 The Core Calibration: Introduction

3. My Digital Life

Scanning Your Power Signature

Welcome to The Hero Lab! This isn't a classroom, it’s a testing ground. Every hero starts somewhere, and before you can save the digital world, you have to understand the "tech" inside your own head.

In the Lab, we don't care about where you’re from or what gear you have; we care about your Power Signature. Whether you’re a quiet strategist or a high-energy gamer, your unique personality is your greatest superpower.

Your Mission: You are going to use the True Colors Personality Test to "scan" your inner core. This scan will show you which of our veteran heroes you match up with: Drifter, Heartfire, Wildcard, or The Watcher.

In this Quest, you will:

  • Calibrate: Take the True Colors assessment to find your primary color.
  • Analyze: See how your "Power Signature" helps you work with a team.
  • Reflect: Learn how your hero type interacts with your "Digital Life."

Hero Goals (Learning Objectives):

I can:

  • Scan my Core; using the True Colors scan to identify my Power Signature and explain my unique strengths and "Glitches."

  • Calibrate my Squad; identifying which Hero Mentors my teammates match and describing how our different powers work together to complete a mission.

  • Define my Secret Identity; creating a Hero ID that reflects my real-world values and set a "Digital Motto" for how I want to be perceived online.

Meet the Hero Mentors - Think about Suiting-Up

In The Hero Lab, we have four main Power Signatures. Most people are a mix of all of them, but one usually shines the brightest.

As you play the video below (or scroll through the embedded slides):

  • Think about which hero personality feels most like you. Heros can be either male, female, or gender neutral.
  • And then, talk with a partner or small group about how your strengths could help a team succeed.
