Q1 The Core Calibration: Scanning Your Core
Discover Your Power Signature!
The True Colors assessment is a high-tech tool used here in The Hero Lab to help you decode your "inner hardware." It’s designed to show you what makes you tick and help you appreciate the different powers your friends and squad-mates bring to the table.
Think of these four colors as the "Hero Classes" of the digital world. Understanding your Power Signature helps you discover your natural strengths so you can be more successful in class, in your hobbies, and in your friendships.
Knowing your True Colors also helps you build a strong Secret Identity. When you know who you really are, it’s much easier to stay true to yourself even when social media makes you feel like you have to act like someone else just to get likes or followers.
Most of us have a little bit of every color in our system, but one is usually the "brightest" for you. As you play the video below, pay attention to which color feels like your natural "Home Base."

The Calibration Process
As you move through this mission, you will take a scan to determine your Primary Color. This tool was developed to help you identify your strengths and understand why you might learn or work differently from the person sitting next to you. Instead of using complicated labels, we use four colors to describe our Hero Types:
- Orange: The Rapid Responder (Drifter)
- Gold: The Strategy Specialist (The Watcher)
- Green: The Idea Inventor (Wildcard)
- Blue: The Empathy Expert (Heartfire)
Lab Note: There are no "bad" colors in the Hero Lab. Every successful team needs a mix of all four signatures to win the day.

- Do the "strengths," "perceptions," and "people" fit into your own style?
- Discuss your findings with a partner or your team.
