Key Vocabulary

To fit our hero theme, each term below will have the (Hero Lab Term in parenthesis).

Assessment (Calibration): Calibration means using a scan to check and adjust a tool, or yourself, so it works the right way.

Digital Assessment (Data Tool): The data tool is an app or website (like the True Colors quiz) used to gather information and organize it into useful results.

Digital Citizenship (The Hero Code): The Hero Code is the shared responsibility to be respectful, safe, and helpful in the online world.

Digital Footprint (The Signal): The signal is the permanent "echo" or trail of data you leave behind every time you use the internet.

Digital Identity (Hero Persona): Your hero persona is the way you present yourself to the world through social media, gaming, and online interactions.

Learning Objective (Mission Objective): The mission objective is specific skills or pieces of knowledge you are expected to master by the end of an activity.

Personality Profile (Power Signature): The power signature is a unique set of traits, strengths, and tendencies that make up who you are and how you act.

Private Data (Secret Identity): Your secret identity is personal information that should be protected and not shared with everyone online. 

Solution (Patch): A patch is a specific action or "workaround" used to fix a glitch or solve a problem.

Weakness (Glitch): A glitch is a temporary bug or struggle in your style that can be fixed or managed with the right strategy.
