INTRODUCTION
Microsoft 365 is a productivity suite of applications that includes Word (a word processing tool), PowerPoint (for creating presentations), Excel (for math, calculations, and graphs), OneNote (for creating journals), Teams (for virtual meetings), Outlook (for email and calendar), and OneDrive (for file storage).
There are two different versions of Microsoft 365 that may cause some confusion. Microsoft 365 Word Online, is accessed online in a web browser, and the Microsoft 365 Desktop app is a application that you download to your individual computing device. Some of the menus and features of Microsoft 365 Online may be different from the Microsoft 365 Desktop App version. Please be aware of which version you are using.
