Know the Rules

Our theme park adventure is on so we need to create a plan. Great plans start with brainstorming, and a few simple rules can help everyone feel comfortable sharing and building upon ideas.

Task 1. Study the brainstorming mind map below. As you read each rule, think about why it is important and how following it could help you or your group generate better ideas. 

  • Choose one rule you think will be especially helpful and be ready to explain why.

Task 2. Play the videos below to learn how to create a mind map using Google Slides, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Canva. Pay attention to how each tool lets you add, arrange, connect, and customize ideas. Then, choose the tool that works best for you. It will be used to create your own mind map.
