Q2 The Gadget Lab: The Expansion Module
The Challenge: Create an Expansion Module
You will create a new Expansion Module (slide 7) for your Hero profile.
Select Your Gadgets: Goal ~ Pick three pieces of gear (tools or strategies) from the Gadget Lab's database.
Step 1. Explore the T3.Q2 Gadget Lab slides below to find the best gadgets for each hero glitch. Pay close attention to the hero that matches your color, strengths, glitches, and gadgets.
Step 2. Identify the Glitch: Where does your mission usually stall? Which part of school "drains your battery" the most? (e.g., forgetting homework, getting distracted, or messy notes). Add your glitches to your Power Signature Portfolio (slide 7).
Step 3. Match your Gadgets to the Glitch: Review the Gadget Lab Database (slides 6-11) and choose three tools to fix your glitches. You may have other gadgets that you use in class that can be added to your list if they help fix your glitch.
Step 4. Sync the ID: List the gadgets in your Power Signature Portfolio (slide 7) and write one "Hero Hack"—a specific way you will use that gadget this week to level up.
Final Sync: Complete Your Expansion Module
Step 5. Sync your ID: On your Hero ID Card from Quest 1 (slides 5 & 6 in your Power Signature Portfolio), add your information to Sector 2. Add icons, colors, and visuals to your card.
