Spotlight on Geolocation

To begin our search, we will use a tool that looks at where you are right now to find the closest amusement parks.

As you read through the infographic below about geolocation, think about:

  • How does a website automatically know how many miles away you are from a roller coaster?
  • What is an IP address? Do you know your IP address?
