Q3 The Digital Shield: Social Media Simulation
Mission Instructions: The Social Media Sim
Mission Briefing: Now that you have gathered intel on the Digital Hubs (social media apps), it is time to put your training to the test. You will navigate a four-step tactical scenario to see how your Hero Persona handles real-world System Glitches and potential Data Leaks.
Phase 1: Squad TactiCal Scenario Analysis
Time to analyze actions taken. Your Hero Lab Director (teacher) will introduce you to the mission and assign you to a squad.
Step 1. Read through all of these mission steps before getting started. This will help frame the Phase 1 Mission.
Step 2. Once your Hero Lab Director assigns you to a squad, you will discuss the scenarios on slides 4-8. It will be important to record how the scenario will impact "Your Group's Shield."
Step 3. Now, each member of the squad will need to make a copy or download the T3.Q3 Social Media Scenario mission slides (the image below is also linked) to follow along and record discussion points.
Phase 2: Solo Tactical Scenario Analysis
Step 1. Now that you have had some meaningful conversations with your squad, it is time for some solo practice.
- Work through the scenarios in the T3.Q3 Hero Academy Digital Shield app.
- Create your own digital shield by selecting the features that fit your Power Signature and declare a motto.
- For your motto, you may be allowed to use an approved online tool or work with your squad to help brainstorm a motto.
Step 2. Take a screenshot of the final Digital Shield page within the app and add it to slide 9 in your Power Signature Portfolio.
Step 3. Complete Sectors 3 & 4 in your Hero ID card.
- On slide 6 in your Power Signature Portfolio.
- Or, in the tool that you used to create your Hero ID, and then upload a new screenshot to slide 6.
- You may also opt to update the "front" of your card (slide 5) with other information.
