Q2 Document Skills: Advanced Formatting

4. Digital Workspace Essentials

Advancing Your Formatting Skills

Sometimes words aren’t enough to tell the whole story! Images, tables, and hyperlinks can transform a basic document into something more interesting and interactive.

In Part 2 of the Masterclass, you’ll learn how to add these powerful extras. As you practice, imagine how you could use them to hide clues, build puzzles, and connect pieces of your escape room—even linking to someone else’s document. Hint, hint!

Before moving on, remember the tips from the previous Formatting Masterclass? They still all apply to Part 2! Read them again, if you need a reminder:

  • Read the instructions on the pop-up page completely.
  • There will be two slide bars on the right-hand side - one for the document and one for the entire training screen. You may need to scroll up and down to complete each step.
  • You may turn the "read" sound off or back on by selecting the sound icon at the top of the page.
  • Be aware of the items highlighted with a blue box.
  • If you do not follow the instructions completely, you will not be able to move on in the training.
